Nanny FAQ


Q: How much do Nannies earn?
A: Nanny Salary is always mentioned in NET figures. Full time Nannies salary (in London) is starting from £350 and can be up to £450 / NET weekly. In Central London Nannies expect to earn £400- £500NET on weekly basis.
Hourly salary is starting from £9 NET and the less hours Nanny will work, more is expected.

Q: Do you provide Employment Contract?
A: Yes, we provide example employment contract.

Q: What do Nannies do?
A: Nannies are trained to take sole care of children under 3 years. They know how to do wean and potty train. Most of our Nannies also keep a Nanny Diary that parents are aware of development of their children.

Q: Can the Nannies cook?
A: Nannies will cook only for children. All Nannies can be trusted in sole care in all duties involving children.

Q: What is CRB check?
A: Disclosure is now an essential element in the recruitment process. We will find out in Disclosure if the applicant has any criminal background, if so that applicant is not deemed suitable to work with children.

Q: Can Nannies clean?
A: Nannies will clean after children but general cleaning is not part of nannies duties.

Q: What if my Nanny gets ill?
A: You are always welcome to contact us regarding Temporary Nanny Service.
When you are employing Nanny you will need to be aware that this can happen, we are only human after all. Have a discussion with Nanny in start of the employment and agree how to be ready if that happens.

Q: I don’t know how the PAYE system works.
A: Paye (Pay As You Earn) is a Payslip Service. We will send details about this service to all of our clients.

Q: What if I’m not satisfied with the Nanny?
